Acceptable Use Policy

Job Central only works if people can trust what they see. This policy applies to everyone who uses the service. It is part of our Terms of Service.

• Posting fake, misleading, or already filled jobs, or jobs you are not authorized to fill.
• Charging candidates any fee, or asking them to pay for equipment, training, or a placement.
• Discrimination in a posting or a decision on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, nationality, or any other protected ground.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or abusive messages.
• Pretending to be a person, a company, or Job Central.
• Scraping, harvesting, or copying profiles, resumes, or listings, or using them for anything other than hiring.
• Sending unsolicited bulk messages or advertising to users.
• Uploading malware, files that are not what they claim to be, or content you have no right to share.
• Automated mass applying, and any use of bots or scripts that act like a user.
• Trying to get around limits, break authentication, probe for weaknesses without permission, or overload the service.
• Opening extra accounts to get around plan limits, or sharing one paid account between separate organizations.
• Using a card you are not allowed to use, testing stolen cards, or abusing refunds and chargebacks.
• Asking Zoe to produce harmful content, or using Zoe to collect other people's data.

Tell us at hello@jobcentral.com or through the contact form with the topic "Report a problem". Include the link, the name of the account if you know it, and what happened. We review reports as quickly as we can and will tell you what we decided where it is appropriate.

Depending on how serious the problem is, we may remove content, close a job, limit features, suspend an account, or end it. We may report unlawful activity to the authorities. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you what we did and why, and you can reply if you think we made a mistake.
