1.Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, so that people can use Job Central with a keyboard, a screen reader, or other assistive technology.
2.What we do
- Every part of the product can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus.
- Dialogs trap focus, can be closed with Escape when safe, and return focus when they close.
- Form fields have labels, and errors appear next to the field and are announced.
- Animation is subtle, and we respect the reduced motion setting. Moving content such as the logo marquee stops or becomes static.
- Colors are chosen for contrast, and information is never shown by color alone.
- Drag and drop features also have a button or keyboard alternative.
- Plan, card, and auto-renew controls are buttons and switches that work with a keyboard and announce their state.
- Links in our policies are underlined as well as colored, so they do not rely on color alone.
3.Known limitations
We test with automated checks and by hand, but some gaps remain. As of the date above:
- We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit.
- Automated tools cannot find every problem, so some pages may still have issues we have not seen.
- Documents that users upload, such as resumes, are shown as the user made them and may not be accessible.
- The Paystack checkout page is run by Paystack, so its accessibility is outside our control.
4.Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, write to hello@jobcentral.com or use the contact form with the topic "Report a problem". Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use if you are happy to share it. We will reply and work on a fix.
