How it works

The journey

Two sides, one place.

Candidates and organizations start the same way and then follow their own path.

Candidates

  1. 1
    Create your profile

Add your experience, skills, and what you are looking for.

  2. 2
    Apply with a clear form

Upload a resume and answer only what the role asks.

  3. 3
    Follow every step

See each status change and every interview time in your own time zone.

Organizations

  1. 1
    Set up your company

Add your details so your page and roles can go live.

  2. 2
    Post a role

Write the description, build the form, and pick an expiry date.

  3. 3
    Review and decide

Read a ranked shortlist, reject, invite to interview, or hire.

Candidate path

The candidate journey in detail.

Three phases, from creating a profile to following every application to a decision.

  1. 1.1 Sign up

Choose the candidate account type, then create an account with Google or an email and a password.

    • With email, we send a 6 digit code to confirm the address.
    • You agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy when you sign up.
    • Each account uses one sign-in method, and each email address has one account.
  2. 1.2 Onboarding

A short guided setup, saved as you go so you can leave and come back.

    • Add your basics: full name, headline, country, city, and time zone.
    • Set your work preferences: work mode, job types, and experience level.
    • Add at least three skills so your profile can be completed.
  3. 1.3 Build your profile

After onboarding you land in your dashboard where the profile checklist shows what is still needed.

    • Add work history, education, certifications, and achievements.
    • You do not need work experience to publish: one education entry is enough.
    • Upload a profile photo and add links to LinkedIn, a portfolio, or GitHub.
  4. 1.4 Upload a resume

Upload a PDF or DOCX resume and review what is read from it before it is saved.

    • We accept PDF and DOCX files up to 5 MB.
    • Review the parsed result and correct anything before it is stored.
    • Your resume is stored privately and is not shown without your permission.
  5. 2.1 Search open roles

Filter by keyword, category, job type, work mode, experience level, and location.

    • Every filter is kept in the page address so a search can be shared.
    • Results show only open, unexpired roles.
  6. 2.2 Find matches

See roles that match your skills and preferences at the top of your dashboard.

    • Matching looks at skills, work mode, job type, and experience level.
    • A score explains why a role is a good or partial match.
  7. 2.3 Apply

Each role has its own application form built by the organization. You can apply to any open role once.

    • The form always includes a resume upload.
    • After applying, the button becomes disabled and your application is recorded.
    • A snapshot of your profile and the form is taken at the moment you apply.
  8. 3.1 Track your applications

Your dashboard shows every application with its current status.

    • Statuses: submitted, reviewing, shortlisted, interview invited, hired, rejected.
    • Each status change appears in your dashboard in real time.
  9. 3.2 Interviews

When you are invited to an interview you see the date and time converted to your own time zone.

    • Times are shown in 12-hour format with the zone name.
    • You receive an email with the details and a calendar file to add to your app.
    • Reschedule and cancel notifications also go to your email.
  10. 3.3 Outcomes

You are notified of every decision. Rejected applications remain visible in your history.

    • Rejected and withdrawn candidates cannot reapply to the same role.
    • If you are hired, the role closes for new applications.

Organization path

The organization journey in detail.

Three phases, from setting up the company page to making hiring decisions.

  1. 1.1 Sign up

Choose the organization account type, then create an account with Google or an email and a password.

    • With email, we send a 6 digit code to confirm the address.
    • Each organization has one account and each email address has one account.
    • You agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy when you sign up.
  2. 1.2 Onboarding

Add your company name, industry, team size, and country so the account is ready.

    • This step is short: five fields and you are in your dashboard.
    • You can complete the full company profile later.
  3. 1.3 Company setup

From your dashboard, complete the company checklist before you can post roles.

    • Required: name, industry, team size, country, city, website, logo, and about (at least 50 characters).
    • LinkedIn is optional but validated when filled.
    • Publish your company page when the checklist is complete.
  4. 2.1 Job wizard

Step through the job details: title, category, location, work mode, experience level, salary, and a rich text description.

    • All fields are validated before you can move to the next step.
    • A draft is saved as you go.
  5. 2.2 Form builder

Build the application form by dragging fields into place. Resume upload is always included.

    • Available fields: short text, long text, yes or no, file upload, URL, and multiple choice.
    • Fields can be marked required or optional.
    • Reorder fields by dragging.
  6. 2.3 Expiry date and publishing

Set an expiry date and publish. The job disappears from search when it expires.

    • The expiry date must be in the future and is evaluated at the end of that day in your time zone.
    • Jobs cannot be edited after publishing. Allowed: pause, resume, extend expiry, close, duplicate.
    • Expired, paused, and closed jobs show a clear message and are marked noindex.
  7. 3.1 Applicants

Every application appears in a table with the form answers and a snapshot of the profile at apply time.

    • One application per candidate per role is enforced.
    • A link to the candidate's latest published profile is shown while they are active.
  8. 3.2 Shortlist

A ranked shortlist is generated automatically once enough applications arrive.

    • 10 or more applications: top 10. 5 to 9: top 5. Fewer than 5: all of them ranked.
    • The score and reasons are shown beside each candidate.
  9. 3.3 Decisions

Take action on each application: reject with a reason, invite to interview, or mark as hired.

    • Rejected candidates are notified by email.
    • Hired marks the role as closed and notifies the candidate.
  10. 3.4 Interviews

Set a date and time in your own time zone. The candidate sees it converted to their zone.

    • Enter date and time in your IANA time zone. The UTC instant is stored.
    • An email with an ICS calendar file goes to both sides.
    • Reschedule or cancel at any time; both sides are notified.

Behind the scenes

How the basics work.

  • Codes and email

A 6 digit code expires after 10 minutes, works once, and allows a limited number of attempts. You can ask for a new code after a short wait.

  • Time zones

You choose a time zone in your profile so that dates and times can be shown in your own zone.

  • Search

Search looks at open roles only and keeps every filter in the page address, so a search can be shared.

  • Publishing a profile

A profile is private until you publish it. Editing it so that a required item is empty takes it off the public link until it is complete again.

The rules

The rules of the platform.

  • Organizations choose a plan, starting with Starter.
  • Each organization has one account.
  • Each email address has one account.
  • Each account uses one sign-in method.
  • A profile is private until its owner publishes it.
  • Contact details on a public profile are hidden unless their owner shows them.
